Corpus_1 is a sculptural piece conceived for the Insomnale, a recurring group exhibition showcasing the works of art and design studentsin Greifswald on a biannual basis. For the previous edition of this exhibition, I crafted a sculpture utilizing 3D-scanned human bodies, digitally simplifying them. My aim was to delve into the extent to which the human form can be streamlined before losing its identifiable characteristics. The culmination of this exploration, the Corpus_1 sculpture, emerged through extensive experimentation with various body scans and required a three-day printing process.
